“Kinetic Noir”
The photography style, Kinetic Noir, embraces the imperfection of movement to signify life. We utilized a harsh, direct flash technique reminiscent of 90s editorial voyeurism but elevated through a "spectral blur" treatment. This visual echo—or trace—acts as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of club culture. The stark contrast between the deep blacks of the styling and the clinical white of the studio creates a vacuum where the subject oscillates between sharp reality and ethereal distortion, turning the photograph into a vibrating frequency.
